Aerosports Telangana is the official body for instructor training, operator licensing and aerosports certification in the state — operating from Nadirgul Airfield under the Telangana State Aviation Academy, in association with the Aero Club of India and the FAI.

Our mandate

India's first state-led aerosports authority — built for the professionals who fly the skies.

Aerosports Telangana exists to professionalise an industry that, for too long, has grown faster than its safety, training and licensing systems. We do not sell tandem rides or weekend experiences. We train the people who do.

Under the Government of Telangana and the Telangana State Aviation Academy, we develop the certified instructors, operators, examiners and safety officers who will run India's next generation of aerosports — from microlights and gliders to paragliders, drones and hot air balloons.

Our base

Nadirgul Airfield — Telangana's aerosports home.

A 500-acre operational airfield on the southern edge of Hyderabad, Nadirgul has served general aviation in Telangana for decades. As the home of Aerosports Telangana, it now anchors the state's instructor training, flight examinations and licensed operator activity across multiple disciplines.

    Express interest

    Email Aerosports Telangana with your background, discipline and the certification track you are applying for.

  2. 02

    Eligibility review

    Our examiners review your licences, hours and prior training, and propose an intake date and syllabus path.

  3. 03

    Training & assessment

    Complete theory, in-flight and ground-school modules at Nadirgul Airfield, followed by a final examiner-led assessment.
